KATHMANDU, March 15: Leaders of Sarita Giri faction of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (Anandidevi) have decided to knock at Supreme Court doors against the Election Commission’s latest verdict on party’s internal row. “We have decided to challenge the Commission’s decision that recognized Shyam Sundar Gupta´s faction,” said party leader Khushi Lal Mandal.

“The Commission has given verdict on something not demanded by either of the factions,” said Mandal. ”We have been fighting for recognition of general conventions held by three different groups at different times but the Commission did not enter the issue and gave verdict on a different dispute.”

The Commission on Friday asked Sarita Giri-led faction to register a new party where as Giri along with Moti Lal Dugad are already in in Constituent Assembly representing the NSP (A). Election Commission’s verdict has questioned the appointment of  Giri and Dugad as CA  members.

“We will make public our future strategy at a press meet Monday,” said Mandal.
