KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Nepal national men’s cricket team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel has said Nepal should play at least two bilateral series a year against Test-playing nations to strengthen the team’s performance and development.
Speaking to journalists after Nepal defeated Scotland in their final match of the ongoing T20 World Cup, Paudel emphasized the importance of higher-level competition. “Now that this World Cup is over, we should play two series a year against Test nations. That will help us identify our strengths and weaknesses,” he said. “Such series also contribute significantly to the development of players. That is why matches of this level are now essential for us.”
