Eight micro buses gutted by fire in capital

KATHMANDU, July 5: Eight micro buses reduced to cinder when a massive fire broke out at a garage in Gongabu area in the capital on Sunday morning.

KATHMANDU, July 5: Eight micro buses reduced to cinder when a massive fire broke out at a garage in Gongabu area in the capital on Sunday morning.



The fire which broke out at around 3 AM burnt down the parked vehicles run by Rajendra Aryal of Tokha-3 on rental basis.

According to SSP Shyam Gyawali, the fire has incurred a loss of Rs 500 million. "We have launched investigation into the incident," Gyawali said. Locals and police doused the fire after three hours.
