Four monks arrested while taking kids illegally to India

SUNSARI, July 13: Police have arrested four monks while they were taking 14 kids to India illegally.

A team of police deployed by Area Police Office, Itahari took under control the India-bound monks for taking the kids in an authorized manner in a bus, Na 5 Kha 5580, at Itahari Buspark, according to Area Police Office.

The arrested monks shared that those kids were being taken to Deharadun in India for teaching to become monks later.

The kids, all aged 13, have been sent to Shiva Nepal Child Shelter in Biratnagar and investigation into the incident was underway, police shared. RSS
