Girl drowns in Saptari

RAJBIRAJ, Aug 30: A girl drowned in a local rivulet at Jagatpur in Saptari district on Wednesday. Anjali Kumari Yadav, 12, of Jagatpur VDC-3 died due to drowning in the local Barhatha stream.



The incident took place as the girl was taking her buffalo to the stream for it to drink water, police said.
