Gold price rises by Rs 400 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: The price of gold increased by Rs 400 per tola on Friday.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold went up by Rs 400 to Rs 96,500 per tola in the domestic market. The yellow metal was traded for Rs 96,100 per tola on Thursday.

The price of standard gold is Rs 96,000 per tola on Friday. Similarly, the price of silver rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,305 per tola from Rs 1,295 per tola on Thursday.


The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
