NUWAKOT, Oct 2: Around 400 people from the Tamang community gathered in the Ghyangfedi-based Tachhi Chhoiling Buddhist Monastery at Dupcheshwor Rural Municipality-1 to celebrate the Dashain tika en-masse.

They visited the Buddhist temple on Sunday, the day after the Bijaya Dashami festival, to receive tika from the temple chief monk, giving continuity to the tradition of celebrating group tika ceremony, said Monastery member Tenzing Lama. On the occasion, a feast was organised for them.(RSS)
