KATHMANDU, June 30: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has stated that the country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds.
According to the MFD, regions in the Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, along with other areas in the remaining provinces, are currently experiencing light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
Windstorm with rainfall likely today
Skies are expected to remain overcast this afternoon, with a likelihood of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in many parts of the Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces, as well as in some areas of other provinces.
Moreover, heavy rainfall is anticipated in certain areas of the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in Lumbini and a few spots in Sudurpaschim Province.
The weather across the country tonight is expected to be cloudy, with prospects of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in numerous locations across the Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and isolated areas elsewhere.
