KATHMANDU, June 23: Higher secondary schools will not be allowed to charge more than Rs 25 as examination forms for entrance exams for grade 11.

The Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) made such rule after high schools and plus two colleges were found charging students extravagantly.

Issuing a notice today, HSEB said it has fixed Rs 100 as entrance exam fee and asked high schools not to charge more than the set amount.

HSEB stated it will take action against high schools found flouting the rules. The board has also urged high schools to abide by the code of conduct on advertisement enforced by the government.
