KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Namibia has posted a 226-run target against Nepal in the seventh place play-off of the ICC U-19 World Cup held at Fatullah in Bangladesh on Thursday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss Namibia made 225 runs losing nine wickets in the reduced 45 overs. Lohan Louwrens scored highest 59 runs studded with five boundaries and one six off 96 balls.

Similarly, M van Lingen collected 58 runs hitting four fours and one six facing 36 balls while F Rautenbach contributed 39 runs including two fours and two six off 30 balls.
On the bowling line,Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed highest three wickets, Sushil Kandel took two wickets while S Dhamala and Prem Tamang claimed one wicket each for Nepal.
It has been reduced to a 45-over match after the match could not be started on time due to thick fog in the ground.
The match will be important for both the sides as the winner will secure a place in the 2018 World Cup to be held in New Zealand from January 12 to February 4.
A recent board meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) had decided that the top Associate team in the current world cup will get direct entry for ICC U-19 World Cup to be held in 2018.
Nepal and Namibia both are Associate nations. Nepal got Namibia as the opponent after the African nation faced 203 runs defeat against England in the fifth place play-off semifinal on Wednesday.
