As many as 100 supporters of leader Kamal from Constituency No. 2 smashed the office materials including name plates, chairs and board of the office bearers of the District Working Committee saying that the party has not awarded ticket to their popular leader Kamal. [break]
The irate cadres destroyed the name plates of office bearers including party president Surendra Acharya, vice president Nirmala Parajuli, secretary Suresh Sharma and set them on fire.
Some leaders of the district party office and cadres of Muslims Sangh had also participated in the demonstration. Subsequently, they had thrown the party signboard, flex board and staged a sit-in in front of the party office shouting slogans.
