Kathmandu, Sept 29: Two people were killed and 24 others injured when a jeep (Force vehicle) crashed at Tari in Sandhikharka-9, Arghakhanchi.
The jeep, bearing number plate Lu 1 Ja 4723, was heading from Butwal to Purkotdaha in Gulmi when it met with the accident this morning on the Sandhikharka–Dhorpatan road section. According to District Police Chief Dibas Jisi, both victims died on the spot.
Three die, six injured in Arghakhanchi jeep accident
Among the injured, four are reported to be in critical condition. The deceased have been identified as 10-year-old Aruna Thapa of Purkot, Madane Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi, and 13-year-old Narayan Paudel of Neta Khark, Madane-7.
The injured are being treated at Arghakhanchi Hospital, and one of them has been referred to Butwal for further treatment.
