Kanchanpur election officials ready for e-voting

MAHENDRANAGAR, March 21: All preparations for the April 10 by-election in Kanchanpur-4 constituency for the Constituent Assembly have been completed.



On Saturday, district election officials briefed local journalists about the use of electronic voting machine (EVM).



The Election Commission has provided electronic voting machines in all the 75 poling centers of the constituency.



According to Kanchanpur election office, it will take just two hours after the voting ends to count the votes.



Besides Kanchanpur-4, by-election will be held in Morang (Constituency No. 5 and 7), Dhanusha-5, Kaski-1, and Rolpa-2.
