KATHMANDU, August 27: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has continued the campaign of demolishing structures that are being used illegally and without authorization on Saturday.
On Saturday, KMC said that the work of demolishing unauthorized structures has been carried out at Banasthali, Kathmandu.

According to Metropolitan Police Chief Raju Pandey, the demolition of the unauthorized structures on public land started this morning.
A team of Kathmandu Metropolitan Police and Nepal Police personnel are present at Banasthali Chowk. Pandey said that they have started using dozers even though some locals have staged protests against their move.
