Madhav Nepal tests positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has tested positive for COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has tested positive for COVID-19. 



A PCR test report on Monday proved the politician's exposure to the deadly virus. He is currently at home in self-isolation and is feeling normal in terms of health conditions.

Earlier, CPN (Maosit Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. 


However, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who was also in self-isolation following the news of CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Dahal contracting the disease, tested negative for COVID-19 through an RT-PCR test on Monday.
