The deceased has been identified as Prabin Thapa, who was working in program production department of Kantipur Television from past seven years. He succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital, informed Metropolitan Traffic Division Office, Ramshahpath. [break]
The motorcycle (Ba 39 Pa 9802), in which Thapa was riding pillion was hit by the micro bus (Ba 1 Ja 7577) last night, said the traffic police.
Fatally injured Siddhi Raj Regmi, who was riding the bike, has been undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital.
Tinkune police arrested the micro bus driver and impounded the vehicles.
Both the vehicles were en-route to Koteshwor from Baneshwor.
Both Thapa and Regmi are originally from Dolakha.
