Minister Yadav refutes interference allegation in JMC

DANG, July 9: Minister for Education Chitralekha Yadav has claimed she has not intervened in any educational institutions.




At a time media reports have accused minister Yadav of intervening in the management of Jankai Medical College in Janakupur, she ruled out her involvement in educational institutions.

Talking to journalists here on Thursday, minister Yadav said she has been wrongly charged of interfering in the medical college.



She was of the opinion that problems have surfaced due to dillydallying by Institute of Medicine (IoM).



“I’m not the guilty, onus lies on IoM for the management,” she said.



Minister Yadav said that during a meeting at the ministry she was presented herself as a coordinator not an interventionist.



“I summoned all the concerned of the college and ask them to resolve the problem soon,” she said, “I have not lobbied for allowing the old management to operate the college again.”
