KATHMANDU, April 5: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Monday nabbed a murder convict on the run since 29 years.
Police said that 65-year-old Bishnu Bahadur Thapa of Bhadrabas-8 in Kathmandu was arrested for the crime.
Murder-convict on the run arrested after 16 years

The Patan Appellate Court had convicted Thapa in a murder case and had slapped a two-year jail term and Rs 550 in fine in 1994. However, he was on the runs since 1986 after committing the crime.
Police said Thapa was presented before the Kathmandu District Court and the court sent him to Central Jail, Sundhara.
