KATHMANDU, March 20: The National Assembly has been suspended until further notice.
The upper house of the Federal Parliament has been halted for the indefinite period owing to the coronavirus outbreak fears.

A meeting of the NA which was scheduled to be held at 1 PM today was called off at the last minute keeping in mind the government's instruction not to hold gathering of more than 25 people amid COVID-19 fears.
Earlier yesterday, a meeting of the House of Representatives was suspended until further notice owing to possible spread of COVID-19.
