KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Central Working Committee(CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress has now begun at the party headquarters, Sanepa on Wednesday.

Today's meeting would carry out review of the works carried out by the different committees formed for the preparation of the convention, as well as hold discussion over the issue of amendment of party statute, among others.
Central Committee member Pradeep Poudel said that discussion regarding the report submitted by the Active Membership Distribution and Investigation Committee formed under the coordination of CC member Narahari Acharya was underway.
The party would hold consultation in the meeting on how to forward the bill regarding formation of reconstruction authority and constitution amendment bill tabled at the Parliament on Tuesday.
Chief Secretary of the NC Party Office, Rishikesh Tiwari, said that discussion regarding preparation of general convention and contemporary situation of the country was underway. The NC general convention has been scheduled in Kathmandu on March 3-6, 2016. RSS
