Shrestha informed that Singh has been sought to furnish a clarification regarding his opinion published in a daily newspaper arguing that his remarks has violated the party rules and vision."Singh has been found to have expressed his views against the party statute", Shrestha said, adding, "We have sought a clarification from lawmaker Singh to know whether he had expressed such views or not."
Party has dispatched a 'very important and confidential' letter to Singh and a carbon copy of the letter has been also sent to party office.
Singh, NC lawmaker from Sarlahi-6, had even remained absent during feedback collection program on preliminary draft of constitution held on July 20 and 21 at the district.
Recent party central committee meeting had instructed to seek clarification from him for his controversial remark as he had said that country would disintegrate if Madhes state was not given to them.
In the letter, NC has asked leader Singh to clarify in written within seven days.
