Nepalese envoy feted in South Korea

KATHMANDU, May 3: Nepalese ambassador to South Korea Kaman Singh Lama has been felicitated with the prestigious award “The Great Prize for Proud Korean Citizens 2013” on Friday, according to a press statement issued by Nepalese Embassy in South Korea.



The Awarding Committee, which includes Korean Federation of Journalist Association, Korean Newspaper Reporters Association, Citizen Happiness Time, International Cultural Performance Exchange Association, Sunday Times, Patriot An Jung-Geun Peace Cup Organizing Committee and Sports Korea Newspaper, felicitated envoy Lama for his significant contributions in promoting trade and investment, culture and arts between South Korea and Nepal. While receiving the Award, the envoy expressed his sincere appreciation and thanks to the Organizing Committee for recognizing his contributions in fields. He also said the Award was an inspiration for him to work further in promoting bilateral relations including in the sectors of economy and culture.
