BHADRAPUR, Aug 27: A person was killed and other four were severely injured in a jeep accident that took place on Monday morning at Jhiljhile of Jhapa along the East-West Highway.
The District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa confirmed the death of Sandip Karki, 29, of Udaypur in the accident that occurred at 3:00 am.

According to the office, a Scorpio jeep (Me 1 Ja 4533) en route to east from west overturned on the road as the driver lost control over the vehicle all of a sudden, leaving five passengers including Karki critically hurt. All of them were rushed to the Birtamod-based B&C Hospital where he died amidst treatment.
The injured are Raju Basnet and Gopa Poudel of Kakarvitta, Gyan Bahadur Budathoki of Mechinagar-10 and Gopi Gajurel of Kamal Rural Municipality-7. RSS
