KATHMANDU, June 8: One person died while another sustained injury when a motorcycle collided with a car at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Friday, police said.
The incident took place at Maitighar when a motorbike collided with the car coming from Thapathali on Friday night.

The deceased has been as Ayush Raj Pandey, aged 23. Likewise, Santosh Bhandari, the person riding pillion, was injured in the incident. Pandey breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Norvic Hospital, Thapathali. Bhandari has been receiving treatment in the same hospital. The police have arrested the car driver.
