KATHMANDU, Oct 16: A paragliding athlete participating in the 9th National Games has died during the game.
According to the police, 26-year-old Nisim Thapa of Tribhuvan Army Club died while participating in the game.

He died when the paragliding of Blue Sky Company fell from the sky to the ground in Sarangkot while the paragliding game was going on under the 9th National Games.
After flying from Sarangkot, he fell from a height of 100 meters and was sent to Metro City Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
