Policeman killed in road accident

DHANGADHI, July 9: Ratan Lal Airi, a policeman, who was serving at the Area Police Office, Bhajani of Kailali district, was killed in a road accident at Kohalpur in Banke district last night, police said.

The accident took place when an unidentified vehicle hit his motorbike, Bhe 4 Pa 939, at the place. Airi was on the way to Nepalgunj from Dhangadhi when the accident took place, it is learnt.


Critically injured Airi died on the way to hospital, police added.

Airi was a permanent resident of Badu VDC of Bajura district. He had joined the police service 11 years back. RSS
