KATHMANDU, Nov 21: Poultry Health Workshop 2018 has concluded in Kathmandu on Tuesday.The workshop was organized by Center for Molecular Dynamics Nepal and Intrepid Nepal with support from Nepal Agriculture Research Council (NARC), Department of Livestock Services (DoLS), Nepal Poultry Federation (NPF), Biovac Nepal, Manushi Nepal and One to Watch.

The workshop presented challenges in policies, market, logistics, health, and research work from poultry farmers and vet practitioners as well as provided recommendations to overcome those challenges to all stakeholders and government policymakers, according to a statement issued by the organizers. "The two-day program has been a highly collaborative effort to support long-term poultry farming industry, an emerging income-generating sector in Nepal, capturing critical health perspective as well," it added.
