Prince Williams arrived in the embassy at around 9 am today and expressed his sympathy in the condolence book, acting Ambassador Tej Bahadur Chhetri said.
I express my deep sympathy and pray for the departed souls, the prince wrote in the condolence book.
Chhetri briefed the prince with the disaster caused by the earthquake strikes in the country. In reply, Prince Williams who is next in the line to the British throne asked what his country could do for Nepal during this difficult time.
Similarly, the Vice-President of the Indian National Congress party Rahul Gandhi visited Nepali Embassy in New Delhi to express his sympathy, Asian News International tweeted.
