PSC examinees looted in Khotang

KHOTANG, Aug 18: Examinees of Public Service Commission (PSC) from Rukum and Jajarkot districts returning from Khotang, have been looted.



They were returning home after giving examinations of Assistant Health Workers (AHW) and Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM). [break]



They were looted Saturday evening near the Manamaya Rai Khanidanda Airport at Khalle after examination of AHW on that day, said District Police Office Khotang DSP Govind Saha.



The group of the miscreants beat the 17 examinees and looted cash Rs. 21,000 and ornaments, said DSP Saha.



Some examinees are injured when they tried to run away. Police has taken under control 13 local youths for suspicion of looting.
