KATHMANDU, May 4: Nepal confirmed a total of 55 fatalities linked with the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours.

It’s the highest single-day death tally recorded in the country so far.
According to the health ministry, the county’s corona death tally has soared to 3,417. Nepal had reported the first COVID-19 death a year ago on May 16, 2020.
