BHAKTAPUR, Nov 19: Two people died in a road accident that took place along the Arniko Highway in Madhyapur Thimi of Bhaktapur district on Saturday night.
The deceased have been identified as Rajendra Shrestha, 34, of Banepa Municipality-4 of Kavre, and Tarzan Shrestha, 28, of the same locality. The local police of Bhaktapur confirmed their identities.

The accident happened when a parked mini truck (Ba 2 Kha 1654) was hit by a metro bus from behind, killing the driver and the assistant of the mini truck.
The duo was crushed when the mini truck to crashed against a tipper (Ba 2 Ka 3935) in front of it, informed the Bhaktapur police circle's information officer, Rewati Raman Pokharel.
Rajendra was the driver of the mini truck while Tarzan was his assistant. They both breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. Police have taken the bus and its driver control.
