GORKHA, Aug 2: A laborer on duty died along the Arughat-Larke road section here in the district.
Mahedra Gartaula, 33, from Chitwan district was buried in a landslide at Dharche Rural Municipality-3, Tatopani earlier on Sunday morning, according to Nepal Army Major Nishant Chhetri who heads the road construction taskforce.

“His dead body will be sent to Arughat for a post mortem and then be handed over to his relatives,” said Chhetri.
A total of 114 laborers have been working along the road. Each of them has an insurance cover of Rs 1 million.
Nepal Army has been constructing the road connecting Tibet from Habadanda of Arughat Rural Municipality for the last three years.
