Sanima Bank introduces self-service kiosk

KATHMANDU, July 24: Sanima Bank has introduced self-service kiosks for its customers for the first time in Nepali banking industry.



Issuing a press release on Friday, the bank said that Sanima customers can now take an array of banking services from the kiosk kept at its head office in Naxal. Chairman of Sanima Bank Binaya Kumar Shrestha inaugurated the kiosk on Friday, according to the release.

The kiosk provides services such as check deposit, statement printing/viewing, and information related to banking products and services including branch and ATM location. The bank plans to add more services like check book request, stop payment, balance transfer, mobile top-up etc in the near future.


"With the introduction of kiosk, our customers can now complete their transaction with short turnaround time," the release added. The bank is also planning to install similar kiosks in other branch offices in the future.
