Lawmaker Nepal flays govt for not living up to people's exceptions

Senior leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Madhav Kumar Nepal on Thursday took strong exception to the government for its failure to control existing irregularities, rape and smuggling, let alone good governance.



Murderer of Panta to be booked: Home Minister Thapa

Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa today committed to bringing the murderer(s) of 13-year-old Nirmala Panta of Kanchanpur who was raped and murdered, to justice.

ADB provides $130 million to boost access to urban water and sanitation in Nepal

The Board of Directors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a loan of $130 million to improve access to community-managed water supply and sanitation in 20 urban municipalities of Nepal.
