ACHHAM, July 3: A passenger bus met with an accident injuring 17 people at Jhakale in Sanfebagar municipality on Wednesday morning.

Of the injured, two are said to be in critical condition. The ill-fated bus (Na 7 Kha 2564) en route to Bajura from Mahendranagar skidded off the road and plunged some 20 meters down at around 6 am. .
The injured are receiving treatment at Bayalpata , according to Police Inspector Mohan Saud. Saud said that the investigation into the incident is underway.
