KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Police on Sunday evening arrested a sexagenarian on the charge of raping a minor in Makwanpur district.
After receiving complaints that a minor had been raped, a team of police from the District Police Office, Makwanpur, arrested 60-year-old Rana Bahadur Syangtang, a resident of Gadhi Rural Municipality-7, on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.

According to the police, the girl was raped on October 28.
The arrested is in police custody and further investigation into the case is underway.
