KATHMANDU, Feb 28: Snowfall is anticipated in various parts of the country today. The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported a partial influence of the westerly low-pressure system in Nepal.
According to the meteorological bulletin issued by the MFD earlier at 6AM, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon.

The MFD has said that there is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country.
Likewise, the weather is predicted to be partly cloudy in the hilly regions, with mainly clear conditions in other areas. There remains a possibility of light snowfall at a few places in the high hills and mountainous areas of the country tonight.
