Sri Lanka set 153 to win the 2nd test vs. Pakistan

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka, June 28: Seam bowler Dhammika Prasad's four wickets stole the limelight from a ninth test century from Azhar Ali as Pakistan was dismissed for 329 in its second innings setting Sri Lanka 153 runs to win the second test on Sunday.




Ali made 117 off 308 deliveries including six boundaries before being stumped by Dinesh Chandimal off spinner Rangana Herath. He spent more than five hours at the crease.

In the morning session Angelo Mathews had overnight batsman Younis Khan for 40 caught by Chandimal.



Prasad trapped Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq leg before for 22 and then dismissed Sarfraz Ahmed (16) and Yasir Shah (0) to return 4-92.
Debutant fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera took three wickets and Mathews had two.



Pakistan made 138 in its first innings and Sri Lanka scored 315.
