The NC-aligned Dal had been pressing for the release of Raj Kumar Bhujel and Kumar Rai of Dharan-17, who were arrested last Friday.
The Dal has demanded the duo’s release, maintaining that they have been booked on ‘fake’ charges.
Police have registered cases against them alleging that they were involved in the khukuri attack on local Surendra Basnyat on August 22.
