KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Dr Sanduk Ruit has said that the post of president is not for him.
Ruit, who received Bahrain's prestigious ISA award on Tuesday, made the remarks while responding to a query of media persons on Wednesday.

When asked the question, Dr Ruit smiled and said the credibility of the president is important in a democracy. While arguing that the credibility of the president eroded now, he said that everyone should work to make it reliable.
"This [the post of president] is not for me." I understand my limits and my place well. This is why I came forward. I will do as much as I can. I will not do more than I can,” he added.
