NAWALPARSI, Oct 19: Two persons died while 28 others sustained injuries on Saturday after a jeep veered off the road at Kawasoti of Nawalparasi East.
Spokesperson at District Police Office (DPO), Nawalparasi East, JC Sah, said that the overcrowded jeep met with an accident at Baluwadanda of Kawasoti-1 while it was heading to Kawasoti from Bulingtar.

According to the DPO, a rescue operation for the victims of the accident is over now and the injured passengers have been taken to Nawalpur Hospital and Madhyabindu District Hospital for treatment.
It was said that the accident took place due to overload. However, details on the incident are awaited.
