KATHMANDU, July 23: The CPN-UML has decided to bar former President Bidya Devi Bhandari from returning to active politics, stating that it would be inappropriate for a former head of state to reengage in partisan role.
Contenders for the party chair post, incumbent Chair KP Sharma Oli and Senior Vice-Chair Ishwar Pokhrel, have cast their votes.
