Voters registration collection adjourns

MANGALBARE (Ilam), April 2: The drive of voters´ registration collection has been adjourned due to the obstruction by the Federal Limbuwan State Council (FLSC). The voters´ registration with photograph has been brought to standstill after causing obstruction to the move. [break]



The Council has piled pressure demanding that the issue related to peace and constitution should be settled prior to voters´ registration activities.



The task of registering voters´ name has been put off till April 5 since talks between central representatives of Council and Election Commission are being held to come to a conclusion, informed District Election Office, Ilam.



The voters´ name list collection stated to take place from Saturday has been postponed in Mangalbare, Sankhejung, Maimajhuwa, Chamaita including other adjoining VDCs.
