KATHMANDU, May 28: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav at the latter’s office in Lainchaur.
During the meeting on Wednesday, they discussed Nepal-China relations based on peaceful coexistence, mutual respect and long-term friendship, as well as economic cooperation and future collaboration, according to the Office of the Vice-President.

Praising the progress achieved by China over the last four decades, Vice-President Yadav stressed the importance of Chinese partnership in trade, tourism, infrastructure, energy and technology transfer between the two countries.
Similarly, Ambassador Zhang said he was committed to taking Nepal-China relations to a new height.
Stating that China has given high priority to its relations with Nepal, he said he would continue
working for the prosperity of the people of both countries.
