KATHMANDU, March 22: The Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar stands at Rs 149.64, while the selling rate is Rs 150.24.
The buying rate of one euro is set at Rs 173.12 and the selling rate at Rs 173.81. The UK pound sterling is priced at Rs 200.38 for buying and Rs 201.19 for selling. The Swiss franc is valued at Rs 190.01 for buying and Rs 190.77 for selling.
Similarly, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 105.89 and a selling rate of Rs 106.31. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 109.04 for buying and Rs 109.48 for selling, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 117.01 for buying and Rs 117.48 for selling.

For Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are valued at Rs 9.43 for buying and Rs 9.47 for selling. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 21.73 for buying and Rs 21.82 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 39.85 and a selling rate of Rs 40.01, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 40.94 for buying and Rs 41.11 for selling.
Among other currencies, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.58 for buying and Rs 4.60 for selling. The UAE dirham is set at Rs 40.74 and Rs 40.91, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.98 for buying and Rs 38.14 for selling. The South Korean won, per 100 units, is valued at Rs 9.99 for buying and Rs 10.03 for selling. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 16.07 for buying and Rs 16.14 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.17 and Rs 23.26.
The Hong Kong dollar is priced at Rs 19.10 for buying and Rs 19.17 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of Rs 488.06 and a selling rate of Rs 490.02. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 396.34 and Rs 397.93, while the Omani riyal is set at Rs 388.68 for buying and Rs 390.23 for selling. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.
The central bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
