Govt allocates Rs 4.03 bn for sports sector

KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has allocated Rs 4.03 billion for the development of the sports sector in the upcoming fiscal year 2026/27.



Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Wagle made the announcement while presenting the national budget on Friday, stating that the allocation is aimed at strengthening sports infrastructure and supporting athletic development across the country.
