KATHMANDU, April 6: The Parliament secretariat has called an all-party meeting to build consensus among political parties.
The meeting, scheduled for 11 AM today, aims to forge an agreement among parties on parliamentary proceedings and finalize the upcoming agenda. Discussions will focus on making the functioning of the House of Representatives more effective.

According to Federal Parliament Secretariat spokesperson Ekram Giri, preparations are underway to table proposals to endorse three ordinances that were presented during the first meeting of the House of Representatives.
He added that the meeting will also discuss the formation of a Business Advisory Committee to streamline parliamentary operations.
