The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has stated that the process of freezing all encroached government and public lands mentioned in the report has been initiated. As a result, all transactions or trades related to the land, including the transfer of the title have been halted.
The ministry has written to the Department of Land Management and Records and the Department of Survey on Monday, directing them to freeze the encroached lands included in the commission's report so that they cannot be transferred in the name of any person through purchase, sale, transfer or any other means.
