JUMLA, March 6: Gyanendra Shahi of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party has taken the lead in the ongoing vote count in Jumla, securing 541 votes out of 1,245 counted so far.

His closest rival, Naresh Bhandari of the Nepali Communist Party, has received 435 votes.


Similarly, Deep Bahadur Shahi of the Nepali Congress has secured 154 votes, while Binita Kathayat of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has received 9 votes.
