RSP’s Dharmaraj KC wins HoR seat from Lamjung, defeats UML VP Gurung

Dharmaraj KC of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has defeated the CPN-UML Vice-president Prithvi Subba Gurung, by almost double the number of votes, in Lamjung.

KATHMANDU, March 7: Dharmaraj KC of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has defeated the CPN-UML Vice-president Prithvi Subba Gurung, by almost double the number of votes, in Lamjung.



KC, who is an engineer by profession, was defeated by Gurung in the previous election of 2022. As KC secured a total of 33,898 votes, his nearest contender Gurung got 16,872 votes.

Gam Prasad Gurung of Nepali Congress got 16,569 votes and Hari Gunj Tamang of Nepal Communist Party got 3,371 votes.
